The Blue Hour is that short period of twilight in the morning and the evening when the rising sun is still below the horizon, or shortly after the sun has set.
The indirect sunlight takes on a magical blue shade.
This is Clew Bay in County Mayo, on the Irish west coast, seen from the village of Mulranny on the northern shore.
