Obviously the mare had seen it all before.
A random guy with a camera wasn’t going to distract her from the serious business of lunch.
But her gorgeous foal, being new to the wonders and curiosities of the world, felt the situation was worth checking out – if only for a moment.
This restful image was shot in a shady nook on the grounds of the wonderful 18th Century Westport House in County Mayo.
