In #Ireland liquid sunshine is sometimes used as a euphemism for rain. We're also familiar with the concept of "sun showers". This is when it rains even as the sun is shining. Such are the vagaries of #Irishweather that we sometimes talk about "having four seasons in the one day".

This image from the beautiful #BearaPeninsula in #WestCork - a summer shower retreating back across the sea and mountains - is a classic illustration of our sometimes obsessive fascination with the weather.
