Description
"The trees are in their Autumn beauty
The woodland paths are dry...."
So wrote William Butler Yeats in the timeless opening lines of The Wild Swans At Coole.
Fast forward more than a hundred years and the wild swans here might be the very ones that enchanted the poet on that memorable day in County Galway.
This image comes from the other side of Ireland - County Louth, to be precise.
More specifically, Townley Hall Wood a few miles from Drogheda.
Timeless.
